Dark Parchment Textures Pack

These are the latest parchment textures to be added to the site dimensions of these are 3500 x 2625 pixels A very dark set featuring three images based on parchment text. I have added some overlays to these and a few other effects.

Parchment Textures Pack

I’ve done a few parchment textures in the past but this weekend I’ve set up a proper photo shoot to get the best shots of the textures, got quite a selection of styles from parchments of different ages, this set of six feature a couple of styles. I have also done a few tweaks in photoshop to add some extra character to these. They are pretty big – dimensions are 3500 x 2625 pixels The parchment textures look good both on a small scale and also when zoomed in and should be good for a variety of design projects.

I’ll be adding the new sets soon, got some great shots and should have quite a few different texture packs featuring the new parchments images.
Looking forward to adding the other parchment textures soon, going to do some text based versions with lots of cool calligraphy and a dirty grunge set, looking forward to putting these together soon.

Folded Brown Paper Texture

Needed to get this one featured on the site as its used in a new tutorial I’m writing. The new folded brown paper texture has a distinct hard edged fold down the centre. As with quite a few of the recent additions, I have slightly altered them in Photoshop to enhance the images, this one I boosted the colour slightly by duplicating the layer and doing a subtle overlay setting on it, think it works well. Getting a good collection of brown paper images together now with quite a selection of styles.

Stained brown paper texture 3500 pixels wide, I did a bit of re-working on this one and darkened it slightly, the original photograph was good but when I was messing with what can be one with it, I thought the slightly darker version worked better.
Loads of detail on this addition to the site, cracks creases and when zoomed in, lots of paper fibres. There are lots more Brown Paper Textures also available on my site and will be adding a selection of new normal paper textures soon.
Old Brown Paper Texture

Description: This old brown paper texture was photographed from the cover of an old music book that the owner covered in brown paper to protect it. The dark sections on the paper are created from where the fingerprints have touched the book cover over the years, leaving natural oils that have darkened it.
A good mix of elements on this one, stains paper fibres and subtle cracks and creases on the paper.
