Dark Parchment Textures Pack

Grunge Music Texture

Description: I just realised how much I love making textures, created this new grunge music texture tonight using some of the upcoming images I’m about to publish on the site, also started yesterday on the first tutorial, that’s going to take a bit more to do but will be really good.
This new music texture is created from a pretty basic hi res shot of a music book page with several overlaid textures on different settings. Will be creating a large ‘full on’ grunge texture pack soon. I was going to publish the psd as well so you guys could look at the settings I have used but its massive 206 meg.
I hope you guys like this new addition to the site, got so many ideas and things I want to get out there…
Cracked Pavement Texture

Description: This cracked pavement texture was taken recently while out walking, spotted the cracked pavement quite a while ago, and stopped and took a selection of shots. Love the cracks on this image, should be good again as an overlay in photoshop or on its own as a large grunge styled background.
I’ve bookmarked lots more sites where the pavements are distressed and damaged, will be adding a larger selection of these in the future, hope you guys like the new addition.
Music Texture Pack

Music texture pack featuring six textures themed on old piano music sheets. The new ones vary from quite simple music sheet images with added texture effects to some montages of some really old booklet covers overlayed on sheet music, again with some textures and color applied. These new additions are pretty big – dimensions are 4000 x 3000 pixels The music textures look good both on a small scale and also when zoomed in.

Number six is the same image as number two, but I knocked the color back on that and added some new subtle texture from a white painted wall, wasn’t sure if the music sheets were a bit too brown so I threw in a lighter version, which I quite like.
I hope you guys like the new Music Texture Pack set, interesting as always to get feedback on what you think of my new work, too dark, or do you want to see some really dark grunge versions as well?
Still not had time to do it, but I’ll be adding all the textures I used to make these and either a screen-cast and, or tutorials so you guys can make your own in the future.

Description: This hi resolution dark brown leather texture was taken from a selection of photographs of an old leather covered chair. Another detailed texture with a grained brown leather, featuring scuff marks and a few scratches.
Might get all the chairs outside while we have good light and shoot a few more textures based on these. Hope you like this one? as always comments welcome.
